Craig Crutchfield (he/him) is an Industry Coach in the Center for Career Services, where he helps students prepare for careers in the public sector, with a focus on Federal service. He is committed to providing guidance and insights to help candidates navigate the options for public service. He enjoys working with students to find opportunities to pursue their career and life goals.

Craig comes to GWU after a long career in the Federal government, serving in the Executive Office of the President during six Administrations. He recently retired as a Senior Executive Service manager in the Office of Management and Budget, where he worked with the Department of the Interior on such issues as national parks, public lands, offshore energy, tribal self-determination, endangered species, climate change, and related environmental issues.
