Grants for Career Development & Innovation

Shenkman Career Services Fund

The Shenkman Career Services Fund Grants for Career Development and Innovation augment and advance the goal of the university’s Career Services Enhancement Initiative to strengthen the overall career culture at GW.

Through a generous donation made by Board of Trustees member Mark R. Shenkman, M.B.A. ‘67, and his wife Rosalind, these grants will provide opportunities for students to engage in career and professional development activities, and will support faculty and staff in their efforts to provide career-related experiences for their students.

Student Professional and Career Development Grants

The Student Professional and Career Development Grants provide funding for GW undergraduate and graduate students to enhance professional and career development opportunities that require expenses such as professional conference registration fees or costs associated with specialized training opportunities, portfolio development, research, etc.

Faculty and Staff Innovation Grants

The Faculty and Staff Innovation Grants provide funding for GW faculty and staff to create professional and career development activities for undergraduate and graduate students.

Funding is provided to offset costs associated with infusing career-related materials into existing or new class curricula and/or departmental, program or school-based initiatives.
