Through the Center for Career Services, GW students can connect with professionals through two opportunities: Alumni Career Influencers and Pro@GW: Professionals-in-Residence.
Whether you’re exploring career options, looking for industry insights, preparing for your job search, or simply want to hear from someone who has been there, these programs provide opportunities to learn directly from professionals.
Alumni Career Influencers: GW Alumni Career Influencers are members of the GW community who share their professional experiences and career journeys with current students. Through GW Career Connect and Career Services programs, alumni offer advice and insights to help students explore career paths, learn about different industries, and build meaningful professional connections.
Pro@GW: Professionals-in-Residence: Professionals-in-Residence connects GW students with experienced professionals who volunteer their time to support students’ career development. Through one-on-one career conversations and mentorship, Pros share industry knowledge and personalized guidance on career decisions, job searching, and preparing for the transition from college to the workforce.
