Katherine Norton
Katherine Norton (she/her) is the Director of Career Learning and Experiences at George Washington University’s Center for Career Services, where she leads a team of industry-focused coaches specializing in STEM & Health, International Affairs, Government & Politics, Arts, Media & Communications, Business & Consulting, and Career Exploration. In addition to her role at the Center, Katherine is an adjunct lecturer at the Elliott School of International Affairs.
Before joining GW, Katherine worked abroad in Japan and Germany as a Contract Installation Manager for the Department of Defense's Career Transition Assistance Programs. In this role, she advised service members through significant career transitions.
Katherine received her Master of Public Administration from Troy University. She is also a Certified Professional Resume Writer (PARW-CC), a Myers-Briggs Certified Practitioner, and a Certified Federal Advisor (Partnership for Public Service).
