Alexandra (she/her) joined George Washington University and the Center for Career Services in October 2023 and the Milken Institute School of Public Health in April 2024 after ten years in higher education, public affairs, and non-profit management in both New England and Washington, D.C. Before joining GW, Alexandra worked with Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies and School of Foreign Service, Boston University’s Washington, DC Programs, and with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is a champion of interpersonal communication, stewarding collaborative relationships with students, faculty, employers, alumni, and other stakeholders.
Alexandra holds Bachelors of Arts in Anthropology and Theater/Dance from Colby College in Maine, as well as a Masters in International Higher Education from the Lynch School of Education at Boston College where her research focused on Intercultural Competence as a critical tool for career readiness.
Beyond the office, Alexandra is an avid cyclist and dedicated volunteer with veterans service organizations. She is also a professional singer and actress, having performed extensively on stage and in film in the DMV.
