Pro@GW: Professional-in-Residence

Michelle Rubin (she/her) is an experienced career coach and proud graduate of GWU.  After earning her law degree, she spent over a decade practicing in D.C., building a strong foundation in counseling and creative problem-solving. Over time, she became especially drawn to helping people clarify what matters most to them and how to take meaningful steps toward it - which led her to transition into career coaching.

Through her private practice, Michelle now works with clients at all stages of their careers, supporting them as they explore new directions, navigate transitions, and build lives and careers aligned with who they are.

As a Board-Certified Coach (BCC) and Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP), she enjoys encouraging students and alumni to explore internships and other experiences that bring their interests to life.  She’s excited to return to GWU as a mentor and looks forward to helping students and alumni explore possibilities and create fulfilling paths forward.
