Paul Binkley (he/him), EdD, BCC, has over 20 years of career services, student affairs, international development, and higher education management experience. Currently, he is implementing a strategy to integrate core career readiness competencies into a Liberal Arts curriculum as the Career Development Manager in the Columbian College of Arts & Sciences (CCAS) at GWU. Paul has also managed career development programs at the University of Mary Washington, Johns Hopkins University’s (JHU), and at GWU in the early 2000s.

Paul has also been fortunate to work and volunteer internationally. He spent almost 4 years in Monrovia, Liberia, working for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI). He has also worked in Afghanistan, Barbados, Iraq, Kosovo, Tajikistan, and several other countries in Europe and Africa as an independent contractor and as an Elections Observer. He co-authored the book Students’ Federal Career Guide, earned a doctorate in Higher Education Administration from GWU, and is a Board Certified Coach (BCC).
