Evol Ewan

Evol Ewan is Vice President and Director of Operations for EJALE Group.

He is responsible for managing business development, estimating, project management and construction operations. During Evol’s nine-year tenure EJALE has experienced over 250% growth in annual sales and revenue.

Prior to starting EJALE Group in 2014. Evol held positions as Assistant Professor of Construction Management and Program Coordinator for the AAS in Construction Management program at University of District Community College (UDCCC) for 4 years where he restructured the CM program to remain relevant and current with its competitors. In addition he served as Assistant Professor of Construction Management at his alma mater Morgan State University for 4 years where he chaired the BS student mentor-mentee program and guided over 50 students to earn professional certifications from LEED and CMAA.

Prior to his career in academia, Evol held positions as Realty Services Project Manager at PNC Bank, NA for 6 years where he oversaw the Washington DC DMV territory; during this time, he managed a portfolio of $500+ million and constructed 20+ bank buildings and one class A office building in Washington DC that won multiple awards in 2010 for architecture, LEED, and construction. Evol also held project management position with a leading general contractor in the DMV area where he oversaw the construction of multiple class A office buildings, and he held position as estimator with a leading heavy construction firm where he was instrumental in generating $200+ million in successful bids over a 5-year period.

Evol earned a B.S. in Architecture & Environmental Design from Morgan State University, a M.S. in Project Management from The George Washington University and started a PhD in Civil Engineering at The Catholic University (terminated due to COVID-19). Evol has worked in the built environment landscape all his life, he’s a sports fanatic, a former cricketer (semi pro league) and former amateur boxer. During his free time Evol enjoys outdoor activities, sightseeing and teaching youths the art of building.
