The Student Employment Team is dedicated to providing excellent support to students and departments and is pleased to offer the virtual support meetings below. As a small team, we encourage you to review our student or employer website and resources before booking an appointment.
Support Meeting Options
Student Applicant Support
Students can use this support option to schedule an appointment with a student employment team member to discuss issues with finding a GW student (non-FWS or FWS) position and questions about applying to student positions. So that we can assist as many students as possible, please review our website before making the appointment.
Students are encouraged to meet with a Career Ambassador during Drop-In Hours as listed on the Center for Career Services website or schedule an appointment with a Career Coach before making this appointment to work on their resume and cover letter.
Student Employee Support
Students can use this support option to schedule an appointment with a student employment team member to discuss issues regarding the hiring process and employee questions. Please note that we cannot provide virtual I-9 appointments. We also encourage students to contact us at [email protected] first. Many times, the question or concern can be addressed more quickly by email.
Technology Support
Hiring managers and students may use this event type to schedule technology support with the Student Employment Talent Management System (PeopleAdmin).
Student Staff Workforce Planning & Performance Support
Hiring Managers can use this support option to schedule an appointment with a Student Employment team member to discuss strategic planning for student employee recruiting, hiring, onboarding processes, and performance management.
Weekly Office Hours for Hiring Managers
Hiring Managers responsible for hiring student employees may attend virtual office hours available on Fridays. Please visit our public calendar for more details.
