Zuri McClelland, MEng, (she/her) serves as the STEM-Health Industry Career Coach at The George Washington University’s Center for Career Services. She brings over a decade of industry experience to support students exploring career paths in science, engineering, and health.

Prior to GW, Zuri supported global marketing strategy at Lonza Bioscience and managed public relations for life science companies like NEB and Natera. Her background spans the life science ecosystem, including technical and operational roles at Abbott Laboratories, the National Society of Genetic Counselors, and early-stage biotech startups.

Zuri holds a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a B.A. in Physics from UC Berkeley.

Fun fact: Zuri spent a year with AmeriCorps teaching reading skills to elementary school students in South Florida.
